We stayed here on our way back to Germany and we’re so glad we did! The room and bathroom were so spacious and well designed. It’s also dog friendly and the breakfast was included - without a doubt the best breakfast we ever had! All in all would definitely recommend stopping in Rye and staying at the Whitehouse. Oh and the service was super friendly as well!

Had brunch at this lovely hotel, by pure chance, as the place we'd wanted to go had no water. But a very happy accident as it's superb. It's so good we went back the next day too. The have everything right. Our doggy was allowed, service is warm, friendly and very efficient. Lovely ambience too. Plus food may seem pricey, but it's superb, and will fill you up! We tried the breakfast plate, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the buttermilk pancakes. All are fabulous! Definitely one to pop into if you're in Rye.

This review regards the restaurant/cafe. I have not had the pleasure of utilising their accommodation. Having lived in the area for a few years now, I can easily say Whitehouse is a regular staple not just for the family, but for friends who visit Rye. They have a perfectly sized menu which is executed to perfection every single time. They cater to vegetarian and vegan diets very well, and they make an almost perfect version of an Oregon chai as I've found this side of the ocean. Service is always on point, and the wait is always worth it. If there were anything I would change, I'd remember to bring my glasses, because the fine print on the menu is so tiny! Highly recommend Whitehouse.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. Our room was large and warm, with very good firm bed. Everything was very clean and tidy on our arrival and checking in was easy.| |The breakfast was amazing. A real delight. ||Staff friendly and helpful.

We were on a weekend away, 5 of us fitted in on a busy Sunday. Each of our brunch orders had a small amendment to the Menu details & nothing was too much trouble. We were served by the excellent Grace, who made our wishes seem seamless! Totally delicious & the best selection of anywhere we have been. We have eaten brunch together all over the UK!

White House is a small hotel but we came here for lunch at the cafe. It was a quick bistro with amazing food. This cafe is kids friendly and they have high chairs available. We ordered 2 mains for 2 of us and it was more than sufficient. Food was served hot and fresh which is what we exactly needed on a cold and wet day in Rye. We would be back for more!

So happy to have stopped here for a late brunch. The service was phenomenal, and the cafe serves a delicious mocha and a wide range of vegetarian friendly dishes. Everything we ordered was top notch, and we loved how dog-friendly this place was!

I really liked White House, and are hoping to come back next time I’m in Rye! The exposed beams and wood panelled walls create a lovely rustic feel which is pleasant. The good stuff = went for the passion fruit cheesecake as was short on time! It was delicious! The turmeric latte was not the best I have had but was good enough. I tried my friend’s green boost juice and liked that too! The food on our neighbouring tables looked great! Food is priced decently too. The not so good stuff = i wish the cakes in the cake room were not exposed and had covers over them given it’s summer and there can be flies about 🤷🏿‍♀️
